Toxic Box Office Collection: Despite the huge buzz, the film Toxic does not seem to be proving to be a profitable deal for the makers at the box office.
South superstar actor Yash’s film ‘Toxic’ had a very strong start at the box office. The opening the film got made it clear how much Yash’s star power is. However, after this the film’s earning graph came down very fast. It was clear that people did not like the film, although the makers were hoping that the film might do a U-turn on the weekend, but the figures of ‘Toxic”s earnings at the box office are not indicating in its favor.

Talking about the net earnings of ‘Toxic’ at the Indian box office, it had earned Rs 101 crore 10 lakh on the opening day. After scoring a century at the box office on the very first day, Yash’s film failed at the box office on the very second day. Releasing the film’s earning figures, Sacknilk said that the film’s second day’s earning was only Rs 37 crore 65 lakh. On the third day it earned Rs 27 crore 20 lakhs and even on the fourth day (Saturday) no miracle seems to be happening at the box office.
Earnings could not increase even on Saturday!
Till the time of writing the news on Saturday night, the box office earning of ‘Toxic’ has been only Rs 14 crore 13 lakh. While on one hand the total gross earnings of the film till now at the Indian box office has reached Rs 214 crore 77 lakh, on the other hand the total earning of Saturday will barely touch the figure of Rs 20 crore. Let us tell you that there is no big film to compete with ‘Toxic’ at the box office, but even low budget films like ‘Hanuman Ansh’ seem to be competing with Toxic on the basis of its story.
Will the film be able to recover its budget?
Talking about the star cast and other details of Yash’s film, the budget of Toxic is said to be around Rs 500 crore. If we talk about the star cast of the film directed by Geetu Mohandas, then apart from Yash, Kiara Advani has been seen playing the female lead role in Toxic. Yash has a double role in this film, although most people did not find the climax that impressive and the dialogues also seemed incoherent. If the film is not able to recover its budget in the first week itself, then the film may face difficulties in future.
