NEET PG 2026 Correction Window: NBEMS has opened the correction window for NEET PG 2026. Candidates should correct the mistakes in photo, signature and details in their form by 15th August, otherwise the application may be cancelled.
NEET PG 2026 Correction Window: A very important alert has come for medical students preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2026). The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reactivated the online edit window to make corrections in the application form for NEET PG exam.
If you made any mistake while filling the online registration, you have a chance to correct it till 15th August 2026. Keep in mind that if any serious discrepancy related to photo, signature or category etc. is found in your form, then the board can cancel your application.
Which mistakes can cause your application to be canceled?
According to NBEMS, every year the applications of thousands of candidates are rejected simply because they do not upload photographs or documents as per the prescribed parameters. Therefore, correct the mistakes given below immediately.
Wrong photo and background: The photo should be taken recently, in which the face is clearly visible. Uploading a hat, glasses or a blurry photo may result in the form being rejected. The background should be white or light colored.
Signature: Signatures should be clear. Only signatures made on white paper with black or blue ink will be accepted.
thumb impression: The thumb impression should be clean, with finger lines clearly visible.
Category and Document Difference: If you have filled any wrong information in your category (EWS/OBC/SC/ST) or PwBD details, then correct it as per the updated certificates.
What can and cannot be changed in the form?
Candidates should note that changes in all information are not allowed during the correction window. Changes are possible in the uploaded photo, signature, thumb impression, examination city (if seats are available) and some educational details. There will be no change in the candidate’s name, email ID, mobile number, nationality and test city choice (if locked).
How to make corrections in the application form?
- Visit the official portal of NBEMS nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
2. Click on ‘NEET PG 2026’ section and login with your user ID and password.
3. The details of the form filled by you will appear on the screen. Click on ‘Edit Application’ link.
4. Correct the missing information or images as per the guidelines.
5. Review the changes and final submit the form before the last date 15th August 2026 and take a printout of it.
