CBSE Class 12 Compartment Result 2026 Date: The wait of lakhs of students who appeared for the Class 12 compartment or supplementary examination 2026 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now about to end. The board is likely to release the results of 12th compartment exam soon on the official portal. Students who appeared for this exam in July 2026 to improve their marks or achieve passing marks can check their results on the official websites of the board, cbseresults.nic.in and cbseYou will be able to check by going to .gov.in.
When can the result be released?
CBSE had successfully conducted compartment and improvement examinations for all subjects of class 12th in the month of July. If we look at the trend of previous years, CBSE usually declares the supplementary result within 10 to 15 days of the end of the examination. In such a situation, the work of evaluation of copies is in the final stage and there is every possibility of the results being declared in August 2026. However, the date of release of the result has not been announced yet by the board.
These credentials will be required to check the result
After the declaration of result, students need to keep the following information ready to download their digital scorecard:
Roll Number: 8 digit roll number recorded on your admit card.
School Number: 5 digit code of your respective school.
Admit Card ID: Unique ID printed on your admit card.
How to see the result?
After the release of the result, students can check their scorecard by following these easy steps:
- First of all go to the official result portal of CBSE cbseresults.nic.in.
2. Click on the link ‘Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Supplementary Result 2026’ given on the homepage.
3. Enter your Roll Number, School Number and Admit Card ID carefully in the newly opened page.
4. As soon as you click on the ‘Submit’ button, your compartment scorecard will open on the screen.
5. Check your result and keep its printout or download PDF for future use or for college admission.
Marksheet will also be available on DigiLocker
Apart from the website, students will also be able to download the original digital marksheet and migration certificate of their compartment exam through ‘DigiLocker App’ or Digital Locker portal on their smartphones.
Students who pass the compartment exam will be eligible for direct admission to graduation or other courses, thereby saving their academic session from being wasted.
