Technology Desk, New Delhi . Poco is launching another new 5G phone in India today. The company has introduced this device, dubbed the Poco M8 Power. With this device, the company will update its mid-range smartphone lineup.
While the company hasn’t revealed any specific details about this device, reports have given buyers an idea of what this device can offer. According to reports, this smartphone could feature a large 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, this phone is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 CPU, a large 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a dual rear camera setup. Let’s take a look at all the features of this phone before its launch…
Possible specifications of Poco M8 Power
In terms of specifications, the Poco M8 Power is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 octa-core chipset. Reports also suggest that the phone could feature up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. As for the display, it is expected to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Additionally, the display is expected to have a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits and be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The device is expected to run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3. The phone is also expected to receive four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, making it even more special.
Poco M8 Power’s expected camera specifications
For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone could feature a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP AI camera with a Light Fusion 400 sensor. It could also feature an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies.
The phone’s microsite reveals that the device may come in Black, Blaze Orange, and Green color options. The phone is expected to pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
Expected price of Poco M8 Power
Regarding pricing, tipster Abhishek Yadav says the upcoming Poco M8 Power could be priced around ₹23,000. The smartphone is also available with no-cost EMI options for up to nine months.
