Kyiv: President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his gratitude on the greeting message sent by the President of India Draupadi Murmu on the Independence Day of Ukraine. Zelensky said that an honorable end to the ongoing war with Russia is the biggest dream of millions of Ukrainians and in this direction the whole world should work together to help pave the way for peace.

Zelensky said in a post on social media X that he was pleased to receive a congratulatory message to the people of Ukraine from Indian President Draupadi Murmu. He thanked President Murmu for wishing for peace.
Zelensky said that as Ukraine celebrates the 35th anniversary of its independence, an honorable end to Russia’s war is the greatest desire of millions of Ukrainians. He said that to achieve this goal the whole world will have to unite and pave the way towards peace.
Zelensky is also very positive about relations with India. He said that Ukraine is committed to further strengthening bilateral and beneficial dialogue with India based on mutual interests. His statement is being considered important in furthering the diplomatic and bilateral relations between India and Ukraine.
