Preity Zinta will be seen in the film Bantwara 1947 with Sunny Deol. Through this film, Preeti is making a comeback in movies after many years. Sunny and Preeti have worked together in many films. Preeti has also worked with Sunny’s younger brother Bobby Deol. Now Preeti recently told how Sunny once scolded her for calling Bobby.
Preeti told the difference between Sunny and Bobby
Actually, Preeti recently appeared in Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati with Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan. He had come to the show to promote the film. During this, Preeti was asked about the personality difference between the two Deol brothers. Preeti said that both are quite different. She said, ‘Bobby is my friend. I have known him since before we even debuted in films. Bobby had a van and we used to go together in that van.
Why did Sunny scold Preeti?
Preeti then narrated an incident when she was out with her friends and she called Bobby saying that he was coming there. But Sunny picked up the phone instead of Bobby. At that time there were landline phones because till then mobile phones were not that popular in India.
Preeti said, ‘I called. I didn’t know that Sunny’s two and a half kilo hand would pick up the phone. I said hi, can I talk to Bobby please? I think it would be 10.30 to 11 at night. Sunny said is this the time to call someone’s house?
Earlier Preeti used to be nervous in front of Sunny
Preeti told that she then hung up the phone out of fear. She said that earlier she used to be very nervous in front of Sunny. After doing 2-3 films she became comfortable with him. Both of them have worked together in The Hero, Farz and Bhaiyaji Superhit.
Sunny told the reason for scolding
Sunny then told her side of the story and said, ‘We were not allowed to go out after 8 pm and at that time it was 10.30 pm. I consider Bobby like my son, so I was strict with him. But he used to go secretly a lot.
Preeti again told that this was the time when Bobby met Tanya (wife). Both of them got married again in 1996.
