Team India Celebrate Independence Day: The whole of India is celebrating the 80th year of independence. In such a situation, how could Team India lag behind? Captain Shubman Gill, being the captain, did the work of hoisting the tricolor on behalf of Team India. Team India’s historic test in Galle
After celebrating independence in Galle, Team India came to play its first Test against Sri Lanka, which has historical significance for it. This test match is the 600th test of the Indian team. Along with captaining India in its 600th Test, Shubman Gill is also playing a Test match for the first time in Galle.
India is the third team to play 600 tests
So far in the history of cricket, only Australia and England have played more Test matches than India. Meaning India has become the third team to play 600 test matches. Of the 599 Tests played before this, India has won 186 and lost 188. And 224 matches have been drawn. India has won its 300th, 400th and 500th test. In such a situation, it is expected that now Team India will write the script of its victory in the 600th Test also.
