Whereas, banks will remain closed on 22nd and 23rd August. Because 22nd August is the fourth Saturday and 23rd is Sunday. That’s why there is a bank holiday. However, banks are open on this day in Assam, Karnataka, North-Eastern states, Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi and Panaji.

After this, there will be a holiday only in Assam on the occasion of Tirubhav Tithi of Shrimant Sankardev on 12th September. Banks will remain open in all other states.

There will be a holiday in many states on September 14 due to festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganesh Puja, Varasiddhi Vinayak Vrat, Vinayak Chaturthi and Hartalika. The next day i.e. 15th September, holiday has been given for Samvatsari, Nuakhai and the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Goa and Odisha on this day.

After this, there will be holidays in different states on the occasion of Srimant Shankardev Janmotsav and Shri Narayan Guru Samadhi on 21st September, Karma Puja on 22nd September and Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s birthday on 23rd September. There will also be a holiday at the end of the month on 25th September due to Indrajatra.

Thus, there will be holidays in September on 4, 12, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23 and 25 due to various festivals and regional occasions. However, this list is based on the given calendar and it is not necessary that all these holidays are applicable in every state or in all banks/government offices.
