US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that if any country continues doing business with Iran, the Trump administration will not hesitate to impose sanctions against that country. The reporter asked whether PM Modi met President Pezeshkian and Iranian officials. It looks like they are preparing to make some kind of trade deal.
Trade deal not done between India and Iran
In response to this question, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that I do not think there has been any trade deal between India and Iran. Obviously every country makes its own independent foreign policy. Many countries of the world interact with the Iranian regime. Even we have met and had contact with some people from the Iranian regime.
No one should help Iran avoid sanctions
Finally, Rubio said that no country should help Iran in avoiding sanctions. No country should help them in creating ways by which they can earn money and use that money to promote terrorism and try to make nuclear weapons.
