The film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, based on the stories of Neem Karoli Baba, has done wonders at the box office, which very few films can do. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, this film had earned only Rs 10 lakh at the box office on the day of its release, but then the magic happened such that the earnings doubled, quadrupled, ten times. Made at a cost of just Rs 2 crore, this film has so far earned more than 100 times its cost at the box office. The magic continues even on the sixth weekend
‘Hanuman Ansh’ has made a net collection of Rs 18 crore 50 lakh at the Indian box office on the sixth Saturday. On Sunday, the earning of this film increased to Rs 22 crore 50 lakh. In this way, the total weekend collection of the film has become Rs 41 crore. In terms of gross collection, this number has increased to touch Rs 50 crore. This is a figure which Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar And Sunny Deol’s films also could not touch the box office. Although there are very few films which can spend 5 weeks at the box office, but those who have done so are also behind ‘Hanuman Ansh’.
Hanuman Ansh’s total earnings till date
Talking about the total earnings of Hanuman Ansh so far, the film had earned only Rs 1 crore 8 lakh in the first weekend. The earnings declined in the second week and the earnings stood at Rs 40 lakh. After this, as if Hanuman ji had blessed the film, the earning suddenly increased to Rs 10 crore 40 lakh in the third week. The earnings further increased in the fourth week and Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 61 crore. In the 5th week the figure increased to Rs 90 crore 25 lakh and now the film is running its 6th week at the box office. Till today Sunday, the film has made a gross collection of Rs 254 crore 18 lakh.
Everything pales in comparison to Hanuman Ansh
Ranveer Singh Although the film Dhurandhar 2 may have made huge leaps initially after its release, but later the collection became quite average. When these big films are kept with the sixth weekend earnings of Hanuman Ansh, they do not stand anywhere. Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar 2 had earned only Rs 3 crore 60 lakh on the sixth Saturday and the same earning on Sunday was Rs 4 crore 08 lakh. In this way, the sixth weekend collection of Dhurandhar-2 was only Rs 7 crore 68 lakh. Whereas Akshay Kumar’s Bhoot Bangla earned Rs 1 crore on the sixth Saturday and the earning on Sunday was Rs 1 crore 35 lakh.
Sunny Deol’s Border-2 also behind
If we compare it with Sunny Deol’s film Border-2, here also the Hanuman part seems much ahead. Border-2 had earned only Rs 30 lakh on the sixth Saturday and the earning on the sixth Sunday was Rs 35 lakh. If trade experts are to be believed, Hanuman Ansh will still spend a good amount of time at the box office. On one hand, this film has made everyone from theater owners to producers rich, on the other hand, the next part of this film has already been announced.
