The planning of Chiranjeevi’s film ‘Kaaka’ to be released on Sankranti in 2027 has become a topic of discussion as the release date of the film has been officially fixed as January 13. The makers have put an end to the speculations about the postponement of the film, while there were reports that Chiranjeevi’s long-delayed film ‘Vishvambhara’ was also being considered for release on Sankranti. The team of ‘Kaka’ has put an end to the rumors of delay in release through a post on social media and said that the film will release on its scheduled time.
Update on Chiranjeevi’s ‘Kaka’ release date
The makers of ‘Kaka’ posted, ‘Ending all speculations, Kaaka is releasing on Sankranti 2027. Our much-awaited film with megastars Chiranjeevi garu and Bobby will hit the theaters worldwide on January 13, 2027. The first song will come soon. Director Bobby also talked about the speculations and wrote, ‘No doubt, no delay. We are coming to make this Sankranti our own – January 13, 2027.
‘Kaka’ will compete with Vishwambhara
This post comes at a time when rumors surfaced that ‘Vishvambhara’ has already been delayed. That too may be released on Sankranti next year. If this happens, then both these films of Chiranjeevi can face each other for release during the same festival. According to the ongoing news, the team of ‘Vishvambhara’ wants to release the film on Sankranti, one reason for which could be the impact on its OTT deal. However, this may put pressure on ‘Kaka’ to extend its release date. At present, there is no official confirmation from the team of ‘Vishvambhara’ regarding the release on Sankranti and Chiranjeevi has also not announced any change in his plans.
Chiranjeevi’s double role in ‘Kaka’
The makers recently shared the first look of Chiranjeevi from ‘Kaka’. The video features Chiranjeevi as Satyam, a supervisor at Aqua Industries and the story then goes into flashback, where his younger character is seen in a more stylish and action-oriented avatar. The film also stars Anaswara Rajan, whose character has been introduced as ‘Ammulu Papa’. Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vashishtha and produced by UV Creations, is a socio-fantasy adventure film that uses VFX extensively. The cast of the film includes Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor and Aashika Ranganath.
