Allahabad University has released the new cutoff for BCA, BCA-MCA and BSc Mathematics. Apart from this, PhD applications for session 2026-27 have started in IVV and admission program has also been released in ADC.
Allahabad University Admission 2026: The process of admission to undergraduate and research courses under the academic session 2026-27 is going on at a fast pace in Allahabad University (AU) and its constituent Allahabad Degree College (ADC), located in Sangam city Prayagraj. The university administration has released the new cutoff for admission to BCA, BCA-MCA (Data Science) and BSc Mathematics courses. Along with this, the window for online application has also been opened for admission to PhD courses in the university.
As per the guidelines, students seeking admission to the university should keep track of the deadlines to secure their seats and complete the application process through the official admission portal.
Allahabad University New Cutoff and Admission Dates
As per the cutoff released by the university administration, the marks for different categories of candidates have been determined as follows:
BCA: The cutoff for Unreserved (UR) category has been fixed at 412.16 marks, for OBC (OBC) at 364.46 marks, for EWS (EWS) at 389.85 marks and for SC (SC) category at 315.40 marks. All the candidates of ST category have been called for counselling.
BCA-MCA Data Science (BCA-MCA): 362.97 marks have been given for OBC category, 390.13 marks for EWS and all the candidates of ST category have been given a chance. Admissions to both these courses will be completed by 8 am on Friday.
B.Sc Mathematics (BSc): The cutoff for OBC category is 356.85 to 357.66 marks, for EWS it is 365 to 366.30 marks and for SC it is 270.54 to 271.80 marks. Its admissions will be completed by 9 am on Thursday.
Document verification of third phase of BA on 7th September
The date of physical document verification and enrollment has been fixed for newly admitted students of BA (National Education Policy – NEP) in Allahabad University. The verification under the third phase will be conducted on September 7 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Admission Building, Chatham Lines. In this, it is mandatory for the candidates taking admission after 31st August to appear with their original certificates.
Allahabad Degree College (ADC) and PhD Application Updates
Allahabad Degree College (ADC): For admission to B.Com through non-CUET in Kidganj and Zero Road campus of ADC, the minimum marks required for admission to B.Com in Intermediate is 55% for unreserved category and 50% or more for EWS and OBC. All students who have passed intermediate in BA can apply. Under CUET, candidates from Sports, Disabled, Kashmiri Displaced and Palya quota have also been given the opportunity for admission.
PhD application starts: Online application for admission to PhD courses for the session 2026-27 has started from Wednesday. Students can register till September 25 by visiting the official admission portal of the university.
