The examination forms for Matriculation and Intermediate Examination 2027 will be filled by Bihar School Examination Board from 25 August to 16 September 2026. Bihar Board Chairman Dr. Thiagarajan SM informed that the online examination form and fees for Inter and Matriculation Annual Examination 2027 will be filled from 25 August to 16 September 2026. The Intermediate exam form will be filled through the website intermediate.biharboardonline.com and the Matriculation exam form will be filled by the head of the educational institution through the website exam.biharboardonline.org.

1. Important Dates
-Period to download Empanelment Certificate and Examination Form: It can be downloaded by the Head of the School/College from the official website from 25.08.2026 to 16.09.2026.
-Date for filling online examination application and payment of fee: Online examination form can be filled and fee can be paid from 25.08.2026 to 16.09.2026.
2. Procedure for obtaining and filling the examination form
The head of the educational institution will download the examination application form from the official website seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com and make it available to all the registered students. Students will have to fill the examination form in duplicate.
One copy of the form will be deposited with the head of the educational institution and the other copy will be given back to the student as an acknowledgment after bearing the signature, seal and date of the head.
Students must match all the details (name, parents name, date of birth, subject etc.) with their original enlistment certificate before filling the form.
3. Category wise total fixed fee of Inter
The total examination fee payable for different categories of students (which also includes miscellaneous charges of ₹30 to be retained by the educational institution) is as follows:
-Regular Category – Arts, Science and Commerce): ₹1,430/-
-Independent Category – Arts, Science and Commerce): ₹ 1,770/-
-Qualifying candidates: ₹2,110/-
-Vocational Course (Regular): ₹1,830/-
-Vocational course (independent): ₹2,170/-
-Ex-Candidate – Regular: ₹1,060/-
-Ex-Candidate – Independent: ₹1,400/-
-Category Improvement Candidates (Regular): ₹1,770/-
-Category Improvement Candidates (Independent): ₹2,110/-
4. Standards of photo and signature
There are strict standards set for the student’s photograph and signature to be uploaded in the application form:
-Color photograph:
-Size: 35mm × 30mm (or 4.5cm × 3.5cm).
-File Size: 50KB to 100KB (JPG/JPEG format).
-Background: Should be plain white or light green.
-Clarity: 70-80% of the photo should be covered by the head. Use of cap, glasses or scarf/goggles is prohibited while taking photographs.
-Resolution: 300 dpi.
-Signature:
-Size: 3.5cm × 1cm.
-File Size: 10KB to 20KB (JPG/JPEG format).
-Medium: There should be a clear signature on white paper in black or blue ink.
5. Online application process by the head of the educational institution
The responsibility of filling the online form will be of the school/college head, who will follow the following steps:
1. Visit the official website of the committee seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com`.
2. Click on the link “Click Here for Registration 2025-27”.
3. Login using the Institute’s User ID and Password.
4. Fill the information of the students and upload their photo and signature.
5. Submit after verifying all the filled details.
6. Submit the fee online by selecting the prescribed payment gateway (like Paisaalo Digital Ltd, SBI, HDFC, or IDBI Bank) for fee payment.
7. Download the confirmation receipt of online application after successful payment.

-Mandatory Contact Details: It is mandatory for every student to provide mobile number and email ID. Only one mobile number and email ID should be registered for a student.
-Error Correction: If there is any error (like spelling, gender, caste, subject etc.) in the original empanelment certificate of a student, the same can be corrected by the Head of the educational institution during the online form filling period.
-Compulsory Admit Card: Admit cards will not be issued to students who do not fill the form and do not deposit the examination fee within the prescribed date.
