The recent flash flood in Nepal has completely destroyed the Trishuli Dhunga market located on the important road connecting Kathmandu to Rasua. This market, which was a major stop for tourists, has now turned into a pile of debris. Many houses, hotels and restaurants, including Krishi Vikas Bank Limited, have been hit by floods, and their ground floors are filled with debris. Due to closure of the road, helicopter is the only option left for the people going towards Rasua.
