Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke to the newly appointed office-bearers of the BJP National Executive and said that such meetings focus on new ideas and vision to strengthen the party. The new team led by BJP president Nitin Nabin was announced on August 17 and the team held a meeting with the party president and the Prime Minister for the first time. Some officials of the outgoing National Executive and presidents of some state units also attended the meeting.
This meeting took place at a time when the party is preparing to increase its connect with the youth through the Gen-Z outreach program. A day before this, Nitin Nabin had presided over the first introduction meeting of the newly formed national team. With this meeting, the new innings of BJP officials has formally started.

BJP’s newly appointed vice president Ram Madhav and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, former Union Minister Smriti Irani, former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh and Treasurer and Union Minister Piyush Goyal also attended the meeting.
BJP said in a post on Twitter that PM Modi interacted with the party’s newly appointed organizational team and shared his ideas and vision to further strengthen the party’s organization and enhance connect with the people.
51 new faces in Nitin Nabin’s new team
The national team led by Nitin Nabin has 65 officials, of which 51 are new faces. According to party sources, in the meeting of national officials held on Saturday, preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, activating workers at the grassroots level and spreading the government schemes among the people were discussed.
