Rome: Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. Apart from Meloni, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin have also congratulated PM Modi on his birthday. The US Embassy in India also congratulated PM Modi on behalf of President Donald Trump. The embassy also shared an old photo of the meeting of the two leaders in a post on X. Many world leaders have also sent congratulatory messages to the Prime Minister.

Georgia Meloni wished PM Modi good health, energy and success and stressed the strengthening friendship between Italy and India. In a post on her X handle, Meloni said Italy and India are strengthening their deep bonds of friendship by working together towards cooperation and prosperity.
Putin also congratulated PM Modi
There itself, The Russian Embassy in Delhi said in a post on Facebook that President Putin has sent a message to Modi congratulating him on his birthday. The message reads something like this: ‘You truly command the deep respect of your countrymen and hold a great position on the global stage. Your personal contribution to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia cannot be expressed in words’,”. In his message, Putin also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and the Russian delegation during their visit to New Delhi last week. The Russian President and several other world leaders participated in the 18th BRICS Summit held here under the Indian chairmanship on September 12 and 13.
