Bengaluru: A shocking incident has come to light from a hotel near Bengaluru Airport. Here a man strangled his two daughters to death and also tried to commit suicide. The police have taken the murdered father into custody, the accused has been admitted to the hospital.
What is the whole matter?
DCP of Bengaluru North East Division said that 40-year-old Imran, a resident of Nagavara, tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat with a knife after killing his daughters. Hearing the noise, the security guard went inside the hotel room. Imran, drenched in blood, was immediately taken to the hospital.
The real reason for the murder and suicide is not yet known, the police is investigating. The deceased have been identified as 10 year old Zoya and 5 year old Jeehar.
What did the police tell?
According to the police, Imran was a manager in a private cab company and lived in Bilalnagar near Nagawara Main Road. He had stayed in a room on the fourth floor of the hotel around 7.30 pm on Sunday evening. According to the hotel staff, Imran had said that he was taking the room because he had to receive a guest coming from Dubai who would arrive after midnight on Sunday. He told the hotel staff that he would check out on Monday morning.
However, the investigating officer said that Imran did not check-out this morning. Police said, “At 12.30 pm, the housekeeping staff knocked on the door but there was no response. At 4.30 pm, they knocked again, but there was no response from inside. At around 5.30 pm, the hotel manager opened the door with a duplicate key.”
The manager told the police that the girls were lying dead near the bed and Imran, whose throat was slit, was lying near the sofa. An ambulance was immediately called and all three were taken to a nearby private hospital.
Police said, “However, the doctors there declared both the girls dead. Imran is still undergoing treatment.”
Deputy Commissioner of Police, North-East Division, Mithun Kumar GK said, “In the evening we received a call from the security manager of the hotel informing us about the suspicious death of two girls and a man fighting for his life.”
A suicide note was found from the spot
A suicide note has been found from the spot and the police suspect that it was written by Imran. It is written in the suicide note that I am fed up with life because of my wife’s extra-marital affair. I have evidence to prove his affair. He has hurt me. I am taking my daughters with me. Police are investigating the matter further.
