If you are planning to visit UAE then there is good news for you. Abu Dhabi has launched a special free UAE entry visa offer to attract Indian tourists. Under this offer, eligible Indian travelers will not have to pay any extra money for visa. However, to avail this facility, some necessary conditions have to be fulfilled.
According to media reports, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi has started this program from August 1, which will run till October 31, 2026. This offer is especially for Indian passport holders traveling from India to Abu Dhabi. The objective of this scheme is to increase the number of tourists coming to Abu Dhabi from India and to further strengthen tourism between the two countries.
Which Indians will get free visa?
Not every Indian traveler will automatically get the benefit of free visa. For this, you will have to book your holiday package through selected travel partners or approved online travel agencies associated with the Tourism Department of Abu Dhabi. The most important condition is that the booking must include a minimum three consecutive nights stay in an Abu Dhabi hotel. Along with this, return flight from India to Abu Dhabi should also be a part of the booking.
Will save around ₹6,500 on visa
Generally a 30 day tourist visa of UAE can cost around AED 252 i.e. approximately ₹ 6,500. In such a situation, this offer can directly save visa fees for eligible travelers. Abu Dhabi Department of Tourism will cover the full cost of the UAE entry visa for eligible bookings. That means passengers will not have to pay visa fees under this facility.

A special feature of this offer is that tourists cannot independently apply for a free visa. For this, eligible booking will have to be done only through the designated travel partner or approved online travel agency. Abu Dhabi considers India as one of its major international tourism markets. Through this offer, Emirates wants to make travel more attractive for Indian tourists.
