age limit
Talking about age, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as on 31st August 2026. Eligible candidates of reserved category will get relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules. OBC candidates will be given 3 years relaxation and SC/ST candidates will be given 5 years relaxation. PwBD candidates, Ex-servicemen and eligible Central Government employees will also get age relaxation as per applicable rules.
No application fee will be charged

Group C posts, two years probation
The post of Canteen Attendant falls in Group C, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial category. Selected candidates will have to complete a probation period of two years after appointment.
First 280 candidates will be shortlisted
There will be several stages in the selection process. First of all the candidates will be shortlisted for the written examination on the basis of 10th marks. The department will shortlist 280 candidates to appear in the written examination for a total of 7 posts. That means 40 candidates will get a chance for each post.
Written exam will be of 40 marks
There will be a total of 40 multiple choice questions in the written examination and each question will carry one mark. 30 minutes will be given for the examination.

Sanitation and cleanliness
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer. The written examination will be conducted in Bhopal.
Skill test will be of 60 marks
After the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for skill test of 60 marks. In this stage the practical ability of the candidates will be tested. The skill test will mainly look at the ability to prepare beverages and food, handle and present food properly and maintain cleanliness.
Salary will be up to Rs 56,900
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level-1 of 7th Pay Commission. The pay scale of this post is Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 per month. Apart from the basic salary, the employees will also be given other benefits like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Traveling Allowance (TA) and other benefits given to the Central Government employees as per rules.
