When can you apply?

Educational qualification
GAIL has invited applications for four major posts of Executive Trainee. It includes chemical, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical disciplines. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the relevant subject. It is necessary to have at least 65 percent marks in this
1. Executive Trainee (Chemical): Chemical, Petrochemical, Chemical Technology and related engineering disciplines.
2. Executive Trainee (Instrumentation): Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics and related subjects.
3. Executive Trainee (Electrical): Electrical, Electrical & Power, Electrical & Electronics and related engineering disciplines.
4. Executive Trainee (Mechanical): Mechanical, Production, Production & Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical & Automobile and related subjects.
age limit
The maximum age of the candidates for all Executive Trainee posts has been fixed at 26 years. Age will be calculated as on 18th March 2027.

Those candidates who have completed engineering degree in the year 2026 or who are in the last year of the year 2026-27 will be eligible for this recruitment.
selection process
